Kush Tours

About / Bio

Claiming the title of “first marijuana tour in Seattle,” Kush Tours offers cannabis enthusiasts a chance to immerse themselves in Washington’s developing marijuana industry by offering several premium tour options.

The basic Kush Tour makes its first stop at a cannabis speakeasy; then makes its way to a glass-blowing workshop, where participants also learn about marijuana’s medicinal properties; and lastly, gives tour-goers VIP access (no waiting in line) to Cannabis City, Seattle’s first legal recreational marijuana shop. Along the way, the tour’s exclusive partners share insights into the emerging industry “in a way that is not open to the general public.”

In addition to the Kush Tour, the company also offers an Organic Farm Experience (summer only) that takes participants to a legal cultivation site to learn about the cannabis growing process. Kush Tours also offers private tours with custom itineraries for couples, groups, and parties; vacation packages to help tourists enjoy a 420-friendly experience in the Great Northwest; and shuttle service directly to and from Sea-Tac International Airport and the Seattle Cruise Ship Terminals.

Why we like it

Kush Tours currently offers the most comprehensive tour for legal Washington. Due to Washington State law, Kush Tours cannot offer participants any cannabis products of any kind for consumption, and so instead allows tour-goers opportunities to immerse themselves in every aspect of the emerging legal marijuana industry. The tour has an emphasis on education, helping participants understand the industry, but that doesn’t take away from the fun of learning how to make hash or stepping foot inside your first grow.

The knowledgable and friendly folks at Kush Tours can also help with accomodations, including transportation and lodging, making sure every step of your visit to Seattle is 420-friendly. CEO Michael Gordon has ensured the tour’s partners are top-notch experts on different aspects of the industry, including glassblowing guru Nathan Aweida and local chef Mary White.

One extra perk: tour-goers get VIP access to Cannabis City, meaning no waiting in line before buying legal bud. This may not sound like a big deal, but considering Seattle’s handful of stores experience hour-long waits and routine supply shortages, this is a great incentive to go on a tour and make an informative, entertaining afternoon out of your legal purchase.
